As a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking sector, you will demonstrate both depth and breadth of knowledge regarding network infrastructure, applications, and technical processes across multiple technical disciplines. You will specialize in network engineering to drive programs or initiatives consisting of multiple technologies and applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive engineering strategy for network infrastructure, including both on-premises and cloud-based solutions, to support the Consumer Line of Business.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of network solutions, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Drive end to end troubleshooting of network performance issues.
- Analyze upcoming network changes and ensure communication of relevant impacts to stakeholders.
- Enhance reliability and quality, and reduce time to resolve issues in network incidents.
- Implement continuous process improvements, including policy, procedures, and network monitoring.
- Identify, coordinate, and implement initiatives/projects that create efficiencies and optimize network operations.
- Measure and optimize network performance, with a focus on anticipating customer needs and innovating to continually improve.
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for network platforms. Show leadership in resolving production issues and manage teams to ensure minimal customer impact.
- Debug and optimize network systems and automate routine tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and opportunities to improve user experiences.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Formal training or certification in network engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Strong understanding of business technology drivers and their impact on network architecture design, performance, and monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences and deliver critical information clearly and concisely.
- Analytical thinker with business acumen and a solution-based focus on incident and problem management.
- Proven experience in building or supporting network environments, including cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using network management and monitoring tools.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for network configurations.
- Experience with high-volume, mission-critical network applications and their interdependencies.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Ability to leverage tools like Splunk and Dynatrace for network issue identification and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ITIL processes such as incident, problem, and lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of container platforms and their network implications.
- Strong understanding of network architecture, design, and business processes.
- Experience working in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals.
