As a Senior Quant Analytics Associate - Business Intelligence within Asset and Wealth Management, you will work primarily with the US Asset Management Institutional Sales Team. You'll collaborate closely with sales management to evaluate business performance, deliver strategic, data-driven recommendations, and empower sales teams with timely, relevant intelligence. The ideal candidate thrives in working with large, complex data sets, is highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and communicates effectively across all levels of the organization.

The Global Business Intelligence and Analytics team has experienced significant growth over the past decade, helping lead JPM Asset Management to make data-driven decisions. Our insights are critical not only during analysis and objective-setting, but also throughout the enablement and execution of strategic initiatives. The team's scope includes developing sales and marketing enablement applications, data modeling, driving data-driven business strategy, predictive analytics, and more. This unique role demands technical proficiency, strategic thinking, curiosity, results orientation, and exceptional storytelling skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver analytical client insights to the US Asset Management Institutional Sales Team to optimize sales processes
  • Build and maintain sales enablement tools that provide actionable recommendations to sales teams
  • Develop and implement new AI-driven insights, capabilities, and processes
  • Conduct data analyses and prototype statistical or machine learning models to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with technology teams to define data strategy and build robust data models, including data lineage and governance

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on coding experience (Python, Pyspark, and SQL)
  • Experience working in agile product teams
  • Proven track record in developing and monitoring KPIs
  • Strong communication skills and adept at stakeholder management
  • Ability to work flexibly and iteratively with large, complex data sets
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts, especially as they relate to sales enablement and business intelligence tools
  • Energetic, multi-talented individual who can help drive, coordinate, and execute strategic priorities across sales, analytics, and technology

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in data analytics, strategy, or related roles; asset management experience preferred
  • BA/BS degree with a major or minor in business, analytics, data science, AI, or related fields
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, requirements, and timelines using strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and other common business and project tools
