The Supplier Management group at Chase Travel is responsible for managing and growing our business with key suppliers in the travel industry including air, ground, and travel technology providers. Supplier Management also owns the overall strategy for each travel vertical and works closely with other groups within Chase Travel including with Product Development on the product roadmap.
As a Senior Associate, Ground Transportation Supplier Management within Chase Travel, you will be responsible for owning partnerships with key rental car suppliers and collaborating internally and externally to grow the sales and revenue of the Chase Travel ground product offering. The position requires an analytical-mindset and understanding of travel data and trends. The role also requires advanced communication and storytelling skills to report out key metrics, finding, challenges, opportunities, and financial impacts to colleagues, suppliers, and senior leadership.

Job responsibilities
- Own the supplier relationship - this includes managing frequent touch bases, QBRs, incident recovery, servicing challenges/updates, marketing coordination, compliance processes, and contracting
- Manage engagements and initiatives with suppliers to advance the relationship
- Reinforce the value proposition of Chase Travel as a marketplace
- Own on-going issue resolution and act as primary point of contact for escalation of issues from Chase Travel stakeholders
- Manage firm-wide third party compliance requirements internally and externally
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders from Finance, Marketing, Product, and other areas to enhance Chase Travel's ground portfolio and capabilities
- Participate in product roadmap decision making and building business cases for future enhancements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of applicable travel industry knowledge and experience
- Demonstrated ability to transform data insights into a compelling business case
- Exceptional competency in Excel and experience working with data visualization tools
- Basic technical aptitude and understanding of API connections
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment and multi-task effectively
- Ability to prioritize various workstreams and problem solve independently
- Strong presentation skills among colleagues, suppliers, and senior leadership
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
