SC Banker (Multiple Positions Available)
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Independently conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of financial services and products for high-net-worth individuals in Brazil, utilizing accounting tools, economic and behavioral science models, probability, statistics, and estate planning. Communicate with clients in Portuguese to understand their financial objectives and investment goals, assess risk and return, and directly deliver to clients the customized financial strategy recommendations, using the Portuguese language to further develop relationships with both existing and new prospect Brazilian high- net-worth individual clients. Assess and coordinate lending resources, preparing credit proposals in Portuguese based on clients' needs and objectives, and ultimately deliver the tailored credit solutions directly to the clients. Provide strategic guidance in Portuguese to high-net-worth Brazilian clients on managing, protecting, and enhancing their personal wealth, working alongside Wealth and Lending Advisors to execute customized investment and banking strategies and trust and succession planning through efficient fiduciary vehicles. Utilize expertise on investment solutions to advise clients on their portfolios and offer tailored services to individual client profiles, ensuring recommended products and services meet their specific financial objectives. Conduct thorough investment reviews to validate clients' goals, and prepare Portuguese language documents that summarize personalized recommendations for appropriate investment options, including developing a long-term investment plan and providing guidance on asset allocation. Drive efforts to attract new clients and maintain strong, lasting relationships, building trust and providing expert investment advice and solutions tailored to high-net-worth clients in Brazil. Develop new business and improve client experiences by engaging cross-functional resources to offer complete Private Bank services. Support team efforts, adhering to established internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions, ethical conduct, and other relevant guidelines. Perform risk management activities, including monitoring client service tasks, managing cross-border documentation, and ensuring compliance with \"Know Your Client\" (KYC) requirements. This position requires up to 20% international travel to Brazil to visit various client sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as SC Banker, Private Banker, Investment Banker, Investment Banking Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: articulating financial planning strategies and investment solutions to current and prospective high net worth clients in Brazil; private banking services including investments, mortgages, loans and trust and estates; constructing private banking client profiles and wealth portfolios based on current economic conditions; global practices within the private banking industry; cross-border banking regulations and laws applied to financial planning; creating presentations for clients using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat PDF Pro; running portfolio analysis and financial modeling using Microsoft Excel; accessing economic news, financial market data/analytics, and price quotes using Thomson Reuters Eikon or Bloomberg Terminal; analyzing legal documents related to finance and estate planning in Brazil, in accordance with Brazilian laws and regulations; and Brazil history, culture, politics, and economics. This position requires oral, auditory, and written fluency in the Portuguese language. This position requires the following license(s): SIE.
Job Location: 1450 Brickell Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. This position requires up to 20% international travel to Brazil to visit various client sites.
