As an Analyst/Associate in the Macro (Fixed Income) Structuring Sales team, you will be responsible for creating, marketing, executing, and maintaining products to meet market demands and client needs. In your new role, you will have strong communication skills in both English and Japanese, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to collaborate across various Lines of Business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create financial products, ensuring they meet market demands and client needs.
  • Market products to clients, utilising strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Execute product strategies effectively, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor and maintain products, ensuring they remain competitive and relevant in the market.
  • Collaborate with internal partners across Lines of Business (LOBs) in English.
  • Communicate with sales teams and clients, including banks, insurance companies, corporates, and asset managers, in Japanese.
  • Utilise market insight and product knowledge to drive product success.
  • Demonstrate logical communication and presentation skills to effectively convey product information.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ample experience in Markets (Securities Sales Representative Class 1 required)
  • Strong understanding of credit, rates and FX derivatives pricing and regulation
  • Adequate knowledge of financing, securities repurchase and lending structure
  • Comprehension of market risk and credit risk of products, relevant financial statements and accounting
  • Logical thinking, quantitative analytical skill and persuasive communication
  • Willingness to take initiative and effort to improve yourself
  • High integrity, high sense of ethics, responsibility, and team work spirit

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Ample experience in Markets (Chief of Money Lending Operations preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word, programming experience welcomed
