Risk Supervision Oversight - Associate

As a Risk Supervision Oversight - Associate within Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks, and using your expert judgment to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities. Job Responsibilities

  • Review current Supervisory policies, procedures, and governance across USPB and JPMWM for consistency.
  • Review existing Supervisory monitoring tools (e.g., alerts, dashboards, etc.) to ensure appropriate risks are being identified, escalated, and remediated appropriately.
  • Assist in the production of metrics/reporting to be presented to senior leadership and appropriate governance forums (e.g., Risk Committees).
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-LOB control partners (e.g., compliance, controls management) to ensure oversight is not duplicative of existing reviews.
  • Provide support to Team Lead on adhoc Risk Assessments.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience related to financial services, supervision, risk management, compliance and/or control management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess risk management practices.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
  • Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly
  • High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with supervision processes.
