As a Securities Services Risk Vice President within our Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB) Financial Institutions Group Credit Risk team, you will leverage your analytical abilities and industry knowledge to support the Global Head of Securities Services Risk.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive and execute the Securities Services Risk agenda by engaging with the Business, Product, Compliance and Risk partners (e.g. Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Country Risk) across the CIB
  • Conduct end-to-end Risk Assessments on Securities Services products
  • Serve as subject matter expert on the risks associated with Securities Services products and governing policies and procedures
  • Lead training sessions on Securities Services products, processes and risks
  • Partner with the Business and Risk partners to identify and implement risk and control enhancements
  • Provide leadership and execute on strategic Risk initiatives
  • Liase with Risk partners to create, maintain, amend, and approve risk policies, standards, facility types, and credit limits, as applicable
  • Coordinate and drive creation of crisis playbooks
  • Attend and represent Securities Services Risk at internal and external meetings
  • Prepare and present updates on Securities Services Risk to senior risk management with focus on performance, emerging risks, and status of projects, initiatives and regulatory exams

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum 7 years of work experience in Risk Management or Securities Services
  • Strong understanding of financial products, corporate finance and market dynamics
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Strong ownership and self-starter
  • Consistently meets deadlines with strong execution and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
