Job summary:

As a Reliability Program Manager within the International Consumer Bank at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an outstanding banking experience to our customers. You will be part of the Reliability team dedicated to enhancing customer experiences and safeguarding the business by ensuring our products and services are reliable at every stage. You will play a crucial role in defining our program management roadmap, fostering close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and leadership, and promoting excellence and innovation across various aspects of our organization.

The Reliability team within ICB, is dedicated to enhancing customer experiences and safeguarding the business by ensuring our products and services are reliable at every stage. This team comprises Reliability Operations, Business and Technology Resiliency, Site Reliability Engineering, and Governance & Transformation. As a member of the Reliability team, you'll play a crucial role in defining our program management roadmap. The team functions horizontally across the line of business, fostering close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and leadership.

As a Reliability Program Manager within the Reliability team at JPMorgan Chase, you will play a strategic role in promoting excellence and innovation across various aspects of our organization. Your responsibilities encompass strategy, leadership, and networking to achieve a holistic approach to organizational development and success.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of technology solutions
  • Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing contingency plans to maintain project and program momentum
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals
  • Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Champion the adoption of agile methodologies and technical solutions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team
  • Develop executive-level decks, strategic communications, presentation materials, and multi-audience-facing narratives that communicate Reliability's strategy, vision, and performance with clarity and persuasion.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management, leading complex projects and programs in a large organization
  • Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with the ability to establish productive working relationships and influence decision-making across cross-functional teams and clients
  • Advanced experience in utilizing technical fluency, including knowledge of vendor products and managing vendor relations, to enable on-demand access to shared pools of applications and services
  • Proven track record of effectively managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing successful OKR cycles.
  • Strong project management experience, with demonstrated ability to run initiatives across teams and deliver results on time.
  • Demonstrates a willingness to understand new/emerging technologies that impact business. Partners with Technology and the Business to pilot and implement new technology that creates competitive advantage.
