As a Data Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in project planning, execution, and tracking to ensure successful delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders and technology teams across the firm. Data Product Owners coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and analyze data to ensure on time, accurate, delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Agile Framework to write business requirements in the form of user stories to enhance data, test execution, reporting automation, and digital analytics toolsets.
  • Articulate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Organize, schedule, coordinate, and control project activities and resources.
  • Provide training and support to users, helping them understand the data product.
  • Identify issues and risks, define mitigation strategies, and manage risk communication or escalation processes.
  • Gather user feedback on the product to enhance functionality and user experience.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in product, financial services, technology, project management, or other relevant fields.
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) for engaging with business and technical stakeholders and management.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate business and technical knowledge
  • Experience working on projects that involve interaction with various stakeholders and technology within a financial domain.
  • Strong partnership skills and experience influencing key stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Agile project management experience, including proficiency in agile project management tools (i.e., JIRA, Confluence, Lucid etc.)
  • Knowledge of JIRA, SQL, Microsoft suite of applications, Databricks and data visualization/analytical tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Python) is a plus
  • Experience with cross-functional team collaboration
  • Ability to streamline workflows and improve project efficiency
  • SQL/querying knowledge a plus
