Help manage various aspects of planning, execution, and implementation of US Recovery & Resolution Requirements for the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB), including the delivery of CIB content in the Recovery, Title I Resolution and Insured Depositary Institution Plan submissions. The role will require extensive engagement with CIB deliverable owners (including Recovery Action Owners, Resolution Plan Owners, Critical Operations Leads and Object of Sale Leads), as well as the Firmwide Resolution & Recovery Team, Corporate Treasury, Legal and other stakeholders within CIB Treasury to ensure the timely delivery of the CIB Recovery & Resolution Plans.

As a Resolution and Recovery Vice President within the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) Treasury group, you will engage in extensive communication with senior management within the Corporate and Investment Banking sector. Your role will require swift delivery management for the Corporate and Investment Banking components of a set of demanding and time-pressured regulatory deliverables. You will be tasked with upholding high standards and implementing best practices across various key deliverables. Additionally, you will contribute to and/or lead regular sessions with stakeholders to provide relevant Corporate and Investment Banking updates, understand key takeaways, and determine subsequent actions.

Job responsibilities

  • Input into strategic direction to deliver CIB components of the Recovery Plan, Title I and IDI deliverables and any new requirements
  • Build strong working relationships and coordinate efforts amongst the line of business and support functions involved in the development and production of the CIB components of the Firm's Recovery and Resolution deliverables
  • Develop and implement effective business-as-usual operating models for Plan submissions, including:
    • Continuously evolving and enhancing the governance and operating model
    • Tracking metrics and monitoring the progress of plan deliverables
    • Developing and maintaining processes and procedures
    • Ensuring adequate controls are in place
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert, develop presentation materials and present the CIB elements of the plans to senior stakeholders
  • Lead CIB Working Group meetings, proactively lead discussions to resolve issues, assess risks, escalate issues when needed, and coordinate CIB responses to regulatory requests related to Recovery and Resolution planning
  • Collaborate with other regional teams to drive consistency with the CIB and act as a Subject Matter Expert by developing presentation materials and presenting the CIB elements of the plans to senior stakeholders
  • Lead the testing of the CIB recovery actions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of relevant experience with a comparable financial services company, including demonstrated track record of working on similar large-scale projects
  • Project management experience and an ability to drive deadlines, manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment and to deliver in a timely matter
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of self-reliance, the ability to work autonomously and to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively, including to foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders and to manage senior management communications
  • Experience in delivering presentations, along with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate complex issues concisely and influence stakeholders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • General CIB product and business knowledge, coupled with an understanding of the business organization
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, ability to synthesize data from many sources, design and draw persuasive conclusions for plans and presentation to CIB and firmwide executive management
  • Knowledge of Resolution and Recovery planning
