Job Description:

The New Payment Rails (NPR) team is responsible for driving product engagement for Pay by Bank and modernizing payments across all rails including The Clearing House (TCH) RTP, FedNow, and Early Warning Services (EWS). We are transforming how customers move money and delivering the next generation of payment products. Exciting opportunity to be part of the New Payments Networks & Rails (NPR) Product team to deliver the next generation of payment products!

As a Vice President within the New Payment Rails team, you will be responsible for engaging with key stakeholders and delivering the next generation of payment products. You will work directly with the leadership team, playing a crucial role in shaping team communications, developing relevant content, and assessing the impact of payment network rules on our business and product strategy. This role provides the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders and make a significant impact in the payments ecosystem.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own rules program management with EWS, TCH RTP and FedNow and partner with Product leads to advocate externally for Chase's objectives, driving network-wide strategy
  • Responsible for driving rules changes into the organization, including impact of technical specs and propose adjustments to internal processes as needed
  • Design and implement control frameworks to ensure security and compliance for real-time payment products, including risk mitigation and regulatory compliance measures
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented controls, making necessary adjustments to address emerging risks and ensure the products remain secure and compliant with industry rules and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control measures seamlessly into the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in payment network rules and product controls
  • Strong communicator with analytical and influencing skills
  • Ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and resolve roadblocks as needed
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to present recommendations in a clear and concise way
  • Demonstrates ability to adapt, and thrive while managing multiple initiatives to completion in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Knowledge and prior experience in real-time payments space
