Project Management Associate - Global Real Estate Property Management

JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) Corporate Real Estate is responsible for a worldwide occupancy portfolio of 75 million square feet across 61 countries in over 6,500 properties. Specifically, the position provides support to senior leaders within Property Management on matters related to Capital Projects.

As a Project Management Associate within Global Real Estate Property Management, you will support the Project Management team across all areas of Capital Projects within Global Real Estate (GRE) tied to owned and leased properties. Responsibilities to include, but not limited to, governance of active project reporting and forecasting, preparation of communication materials and content, interactions with internal and external partners, monthly reporting, data collection, and analytics. Additionally, you will provide administrative tasks including reports preparation, tracking of open items, and supervision of supplier activities.

Job responsibilities:

  • Support the Global Head of Project Management in Property Management, GRE Operations and Engineering team, and key property management staff with day to day tasks and activities
  • Actively manage global scale project initiatives via internal and external partners and compile reporting for leadership review
  • Track and manage project performance, budgets, and project evaluation with KPIs and other project performance and cost/savings metrics
  • Oversee and manage presentation materials, reports, and other content for stakeholders across the firm in order to communicate strategies and progress effectively; may include leading presentations to senior leadership
  • Take an active role on issues related to related capital projects.
  • Support implementation of technologies aimed at standardizing budget and schedule reporting.
  • Stay current with global trends and policy changes that impact the real estate sector. Provide insights and recommendations based on research and industry best practices.
  • Ensure quality assurance by reviewing and verifying the accuracy of data, reports, and presentations before distribution to ensure high standards of quality and professionalism
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external vendors, managing relationships, contracts, and service delivery to ensure optimal performance and value
  • Operationalize processes and workflows to drive internal operational efficiency and provide communications across multiple internal stakeholder groups

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
  • 3+ years industry experience required in a major consulting company, a major construction company, real estate holding company, or other related industry, ideally with relevant experience in project management and financial analysis.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage and track large amounts of data, and to articulate a clear and meaningful message supported by this data.
  • Experience in evaluating performance based on set criteria and reporting.
  • Self-starter with the ability to meet or exceed deadlines, prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in fast-paced, changing environment
  • High level of professionalism, self-motivation, and sense of urgency
  • Organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills including strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience with project management tools is a plus
