Product Portfolio Operations Manager

As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager within Operations Cross Product Strategy, you are a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space, while being directly responsible for creating structures that enhance coordination in our product line.

Job responsibilities

  • Work across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communications plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives
  • Enable operational efficiency by supporting training, maturation, needs assessments, and continuous improvement practices
  • Drive adaptation and modification of our product-line framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized
  • Implement a product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs
  • Facilitate Stakeholder and Relationship Management with Product teams to ensure alignment on book of work impacting operations.
  • Lead dependency management coordination and facilitation across products to ensure delivery timing, commitments, and execution are achieved successfully
  • Partner with Operations Strategy & Readiness teams to ensure business stakeholders are aware of product deliveries and release.
  • Regularly report on Initiative status, health, and timing to effectively communicate Operations product progress & execution status to leadership

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery & execution, project / program management, performance optimization, or product operations
  • Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives
  • Strong ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills & time management
  • Strong executive communication skills - ability to summarize ongoing project work in a concise, efficient manner
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders outside of their own organization or line of business in order to drive work forward effectively

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Basic proficiency in JIRA / JIRA Align
  • Knowledge of working in a Product Management organization - partnering with Product Owners, Technology, Design and Data partners
