Job responsibilities
- Develops a robust technical product strategy and vision that aligns with customer needs and drives innovation.
- Leads discovery efforts and conducts in-depth technical assessment to identify customer solutions, integrating them seamlessly into the product roadmap.
- Owns, maintains, and evolves a comprehensive product backlog that empowers development teams to support the strategic roadmap and deliver exceptional value propositions.
- Establishes a framework for tracking key success metrics of the product, including cost efficiency, feature and functionality enhancements, risk management, and reliability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical product management or a relevant technical domain.
- Background in software development, with experience in managing platforms and frameworks. Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to the platform.
- Proven track record of managing and scaling platforms or frameworks, including experience with API design, integration, and platform architecture
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive platform development and adoption.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and facilitate collaboration across teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Strong understanding of Java-based microservices architecture and Kafka, with the ability to guide product strategy and development decisions.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and operations, to drive platform development and adoption.
- Strong focus on understanding customer needs and translating them into platform requirements and features that deliver value.
- Ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues, and innovate solutions that enhance platform capabilities and user experience.
