As a Product Manager / Developer you will be responsible for the evolution and improvements of Privacy Product strategy including GDPR Individual Rights Requests (IRR) product. You will be supporting the multimarket product strategy, technical implementation, integration with systems within JPMC across Europe. You will have opportunities to apply your product and delivery skills, privacy domain knowledge and experience, as well as to grow them in new areas and roles in the future as the business continues to expand.

Job responsibilities:

We are seeking experienced Product Manager for the Privacy Product expansion. It is expected that this role will involve:

  • Acting as subject matter expert in the privacy domain, specifically regarding EU regulations, planning, delivery and deployment management
  • Managing a team of developers to bring forward the product integration and act as point of contact for the team
  • Partnering with the Tech and Market Leads to ensure alignment of product and technical vision and requirements
  • Working in collaboration with other squads, business functions, programme management and third-party vendors to agree, align, sequence and re-plan work in a dynamic, changing environment
  • Planning and organising the stories/tasks to be delivered in the upcoming sprint(s)
  • Creating, organising and refining product backlog based on strategy, value, deadlines, dependencies and cost according to both the product and technical visions
  • Writing acceptance criteria for user stories and ensuring that user stories meet the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done
  • Creating delivery plans for effectively managing dependencies within the firm. Participate in Programme increment planning for sequencing the delivery in line with firms objectives
  • Leading change management for the product by partnering with PME, Drive internal change processes effectively utilising the internal governance framework
  • Working closely with engineering and quality assurance team members to create test plans and ensure that issues are properly identified, fixed, and tested
  • Developing standards, identifying new approaches and training others in all these areas
  • Managing the in-market product, using appropriate KPI's to improve customer experience and performance
  • Managing regulatory issues, controls, risk, and resiliency on an ongoing basis, anticipating and mitigating issues

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • You should have the following attributes and relevant experience, ideally within the retail banking sector:
    • Knowledge, vision on how to integrate, uplift and innovate delivery of EU regulations as part of Privacy initiatives
    • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment and demonstrable ability to manage the intricacies of regulatory delivery
    • Experience with Product design, evolution and demonstrate track record of successful delivery with support from Product Lead
    • Experience as a business analyst or product owner in a complex software environment with Agile/Scrum development including:
      • Expert-level knowledge in Agile rules, processes, and best practices
      • Strong experience with planning, prioritising, and maintaining product backlogs
    • Continuous Delivery - Experience working with development teams that deliver to Production continuously
    • Ability to handle multiple priorities / deadlines without compromising quality
    • Ability to incorporate user needs, business needs, and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process
    • Capability of independent decision-making as well as able to take direction
    • Knowledge and experience with AWS, Glue, SQL, Python / Privacy related certifications (CIPP, CIPT, or CIPM) would be considered a plus
