Join our team as a Controls Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing derived data and use cases that require approval through the Workforce Data Use Council. You will be responsible for creating and implementing control policies in collaboration with our risk and compliance functions. This role is primarily focused on the new JPMorgan Assistant, an agentic AI solution powered by Moveworks. Your responsibilities will encompass data, APIs, content, and country coverage. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of \"LLM as a Judge,\" a capability that leverages multiple LLMs, agents, and models to ensure consistency in responses and control hallucinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and Controls Engagement:
    • Lead the engagement with audit and controls teams to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
    • Develop and maintain a robust control environment for the JPMorgan Assistant.
  • Guardrails Creation and Monitoring:
    • Design and implement guardrails to ensure the safe and effective use of AI solutions.
    • Continuously monitor and update guardrails to adapt to evolving risks and technologies.
  • Core Controls Entry and Tracking:
    • Manage the entry and tracking of core controls to ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address control gaps and weaknesses.
  • DUC and Works Councils Engagement:
    • Engage with the Workforce Data Use Council and works councils to ensure alignment with data governance policies.
    • Facilitate discussions and approvals for new use cases and data initiatives.
  • Access and Entitlements:
    • Oversee access and entitlements to ensure appropriate data and system access for authorized personnel.
    • Implement controls to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
  • System Standards and Governance:
    • Establish and maintain system standards and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with technology leaders to assess and improve system standards.
  • LLM as a Judge:
    • Act as a Product Manager to develop the \"LLM as a Judge\" capability.
    • Utilize multiple LLMs, agents, and models to compare responses and control hallucinations.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

    • Substantial experience in controls, audit, risk management, or compliance within a financial services environment.
    • Advanced knowledge of AI solutions, data governance, and risk management principles.
    • Proven ability to design and implement control frameworks and policies.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Experience in managing access and entitlements, system standards, and governance.
    • Familiarity with LLMs and AI technologies is a plus.

    Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

    • Experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced, results-focused environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Visio).
