As a Product Director in Digital Communications within Consumer & Community Banking, you will lead innovation through development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you will leverage your advanced capabilities to be a creative problem solver, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that inspires cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer journeys. Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
  • Manage alerts management platform that enables Chase customers to manage their alerts preferences in omni-channel experiences, by designing and delivering fit-for-purpose APIs and backend platform processes. Establish controls and safeguards to ensure stability of the end-customer's experience, and enable consumption of data and insights at-scale
  • Define and execute product strategy to transform the current platform into a simple, sustainable, and scalable modernized platform over time while effectively delivering on the business needs for new/different alerts. Drive product reviews and strategy sessions with senior leadership to provide transparency into the approach and progress
  • Partner effectively with Design and other Product partners to deliver a re-imagined digital CX for managing alerts preferences.
  • Drive team's performance for flawless execution of the roadmap, identifying potential roadblocks and helping solve issues with thoughtful and pragmatic approach

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Familiarity with large-scale platform products, processing large amount of complex data and supporting operation-critical functionalities for the customers and the firm
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across functions and at all levels (business, technology, operations, executives, peer and staff).
  • Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with ability to influence the development and execution of key operational strategies and projects, with cross-functional partners and peers
  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to learn fast by distilling large amount of information into high-level summaries. Structured thinker, effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills for a variety of audiences, across technical concepts and user-journeys
  • Familiarity with LRCC considerations relevant in financial services and a controls-oriented mindset to protect our customers and the firm in a systematic manner
  • Experience with agile product development techniques, design thinking, and continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to market
  • Familiarity with the business services and offerings associated with Chase, across Consumer and Business-facing lines of businesses
