Job Description:

The Technical Security team consists of a dynamic group of security professionals who support the physical security of our retail and corporate environments through access control, alarm monitoring, and video surveillance technologies. They are responsible for the overall design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of integrated security systems that protect the firm across the logical & physical threat spectrum. Technical security professionals work closely with key stakeholders across Global Security, Global Real Estate, and multiple technical teams nested within Global Technology.

The dynamic role of a Product Delivery Associate in Retail Technical Security is a trusted position that demands strong critical thinking, decision-making abilities, independent initiative, and a desire to learn and develop; ideal for a self-motivated individual with intellectual curiosity. This role involves a wide array of responsibilities across people, processes, and technology, and is accountable to GS Product Directors and Product Owners as key stakeholders. A successful candidate will be adept at synthesizing security industry trends, aligning innovative or emerging technologies with business and customer needs, effectively communicating benefits and ROI, providing tours and demonstrations to senior leaders, and supporting the piloting of new and existing Technical Security hardware and software solutions. Strong project management skills are essential for navigating through the stages of ideation, funding, planning, execution, and project closure.

In this role, you will work, in-office, in a highly paced, deadline driven, environment that requires consistent attention to detail. While you'll get overall guidance and direction, it's up to the individual Product Associate to decide what tasks to prioritize, how to stay motivated, and ensure everything is completed within a given timeframe.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal Technology teams and Product Owners to design, develop, manage, configure, and maintain diverse security testing platforms and environments. These platforms will support networked and serial communication devices, such as surveillance cameras, network-connected alarm panels and readers, corporate and retail security applications, and micro processing controllers.
• Assist in managing multi-million dollar projects to delivery in support of major Technical Security initiatives across the firm; to include tracking key dates and progress, and assisting in the preparation and completion of PowerPoint presentations for senior leaders.
• Support the Product Owners with compliance and audit tasks such as maintaining KPIs and providing supporting evidence of control completion
• Work with internal training partners to guide updates to job aides and operating procedures, collect and analyze metrics, and prepare technical documentation
• Deliver and articulate intelligent presentations and demonstrations to senior leaders

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with professional presentation skills

• The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders across multiple Lines of Business, and external vendors
• The aptitude to multi-task and learn new software, hardware, and processes quickly and simultaneously; a willingness to progress; a high standard of integrity and dependability working autonomously in ambiguous high-pressure environments
• Self-starter who is able to work with general direction and will follow up with questions
• Sound decision-making to critically think through a problem and the intellectual curiosity to pursue the solution

• 2 years of experience with Technical Security, project management, and/or product management
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project and/or similar project management tools

• Must be available to work on-site from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to provide support for applications and functions during evenings and weekends, as required.

Preferred

• Knowledge of physical security technology systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection), and basic IT networking and infrastructure design
• Experience implementing physical, technical, and administrative controls
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology-related field
• Relevant experience in information security or technology controls

• Knowledge of SQL, SQL scripting, or related coding formats
• Basic knowledge of agile methodologies of software development
