Private Banking Credit Operations Analyst

Are you a strong team player looking for an opportunity to further expand your exposure with one of the world's most innovative banks? We are looking for a highly motivated individual to support our Private Banking business where we serve the complex wealth management needs of our ultra-high net worth clients across the world.

As an Analyst in the Deals Specialist team, you will develop all-round expertise in credit documentation. You will collaborate closely with Lending Advisors, Credit Risk Executives, and Legal teams on specialty lending to deliver exceptional client service, facilitate loan origination, and provide customized credit documentation for the Private Bank's Ultra High Net Worth market teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle credit documentation lifecycle, including preparation, liaising with internal legal on documentation drafting, signature verification, scanning, and filing.
  • Liaise with external counsel on transactions to ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory and registration requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the Credit Underwriting team, Credit Executives, and other stakeholders to manage credit facilities extended to Asia Private Banking clients.
  • Support process improvement by assisting in mapping the end-to-end documentation process, identifying problems, participating in root cause analysis to understand potential factors causing issues, contributing to actionable recommendations, helping design solutions, and assisting in quantifying operational benefits.
  • Explore and develop automation opportunities for existing reports using Intelligent Automation tools like Alteryx, Python, Unqork and UiPath.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in Credit Risk or Lending in a financial institution.
  • Strong analytical skills with capability to use qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze complex financial situations.
  • Strong presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills.
  • High level of attention to detail with good time management.
  • Teamwork ethic and focus; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and understanding of risk measures.
  • Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Model solutions.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Hands on knowledge of credit documentation preparation is a plus.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of KYC and cross-border regulatory issues.
  • Good understanding of Private Banking credit products, financial markets, and the securities industry.
  • Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Unqork, UiPath would be a strong plus.
