Prime Financial Services Operations - Analytics Associate
This is a unique opportunity of supporting the Prime Financial Services Operations on global client experience initiatives in the Prime Financial Services business, utilize your strong data analytics background to improve the client experience with direct measurable client and business impact.
As an Analytics Associate within Prime Financial Services Operations (PFSO), you will learn about the growing clearing business and the clients' perspective and be responsible for running different initiatives ranging from client deep dives to data modeling, while having the opportunity to present to senior business and technical stakeholders. You will be part of executing the strategy and vision for the PFSO business to determine what strategic platform enhancements or digital solutions we invest in to remain appealing to our client base. This individual must be a passionate problem solver with a solid knowledge about trade life cycle / operations processes, able to challenge the status quo and understand platform and digital technology. Having an innovative mindset, bringing new and creative ideas to the table will also be at the heart of this role.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify data needs
- Analyze data sources to map and source data inputs required to support the business objectives
- Use data to tell a story; observe and identify trends and patterns that is meaningful to the business and operations alike
- Defining and building out the data quality rules and framework
- Collaborate with technology to obtain access to data in a controlled manner
- Champion and lead a data mindset with the BAU operations partners through leading various forums and discussions to drive change
- Work collaboratively with relevant functions within the business to deliver the project
- Managing deadlines and deliverables
- Leveraging GenAI to for solution design

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years working in the Financial Industry, with preference for relevant Technology experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a Finance or Technology related discipline
- Competency with at least one of SQL, Python or R
- Proven track record in end-to-end data modelling
- Focus on high quality and timely delivery that will translate into direct measurable client impact
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to structure and scope complex problems
- Self-starting and independent in managing own delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with colleagues across geographies and be comfortable partnering with multiple teams and locations
- Collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Proficiency in innovative tools, such as Alteryx, Xceptor, UIPath, Tableau etc
- Prior experience working with GenAI
- Financial markets knowledge and product knowledge of Futures & Options, FXPB, OTCPB, Prime Swap, Prime Cash
