Payments Merchant Services APAC Product Delivery Manager - Associate

JPMorgan Payments team is seeking a high energy and motivated Product Delivery Manager. Candidate will leverage their knowledge in payments and the financial industry to build our JPMorgan solution for the international expansion of Merchant Services in APAC. They will be central to ensuring that the expansion of the Merchant Services business in APAC is a success.

As a Merchant Services APAC Product Delivery Manager within the JPMorgan Payments team, you will be in charge of the end-to-end creation and delivery of the business. You will need to be comfortable working closely with internal and external teams globally to ensure our country launches are a success. You will build strong relationships and work with Product Owners, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Controls, Finance, Tax, Operations and Technology Teams; and demonstrate strong attention to local business requirements to ensure adherence to all applicable legal, risk, compliance, and controls frameworks. Additionally, You will assist in the overall coordination and management of the project delivery including reporting and monitoring, and other key project management functions.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage new product initiatives or deployment of existing products to new market. Ensuring that initiative goals, requirements, schedules are clearly defined, communicated, and tracked against to achieve progress and deliver results.
  • Work with Merchant Services teams, Payments product partners, functional partners, and third-party partners to complete the execution and delivery of all work streams necessary to build our acquiring business in various markets across the APAC
  • Design and implement detailed test plans, execute rigorous testing procedures, and validate results to ensure compliance with business and functional requirements.
  • Document, maintain, and circulate iterations of project details and operational/system workflows and testing results in a timely and succinct manner. And that they be audit ready when needed.
  • Become a subject-matter expert on Merchant Services business in respective countries.
  • Provide advice and solution around the financial, tax and operations of JPMorgan for our Merchant solutions to interface, integrate and automate.
  • Oversight of financial and processing activities, including any adjustments, reconciliations, data validations
  • Facilitate the seamless transition of Finance, Tax and Operations processes to their strategic teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Build strong working relationships with adjacent JP Morgan program or global management teams to ensure all streams are integrated, aligned, and managed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and/or business
  • 2 years or more experience in banking Payments with good knowledge of corporate payments ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of bank controls, compliance, and risk management
  • Demonstrate very strong communication skills to manage collaboration with multiple teams, coordinating across high-performing teams and individuals, and reaching consensus with diverse stakeholders throughout the firm
  • Exceptional inter-personal skills and team player, with demonstrated commitment and grit to meet delivery objectives
  • Well organized, detail oriented and meticulous nature
  • Very strong documentation (project plans, trackers and slides) and presentation delivery ability

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and other modern program management tools an advantage
