As a Vice President and Escrow Deal Negotiator in Liquidity and Account Solutions, you'll manage a diverse portfolio of Escrow client relationships, negotiating agreements ahead of deal closings while aligning with JPM's risk profile. This role offers the opportunity to interact directly with clients and attorneys, ensuring JPM's Know Your Customer process is completed before agreements are signed. You'll be responsible for loading deal information into our operating system, managing the deal pipeline, and organizing related meetings. Additionally, you'll assist with client correspondence and support the Sales team, aiming to earn repeat business through exceptional customer service. JPMorgan Liquidity & Account Solutions ("L&AS") works with global clients with complex cash management needs who operates across multiple countries, currencies, legal entities, and time zones, including multi-national corporations, high-growth technology companies, commercial banks, non-bank financial institutions, central banks and broker dealers. Job responsibilities:
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Understands the business purpose and deal structure for new business referrals
- Reviews and negotiates governing documents with internal counsel as needed
- Interacts with client's external counsel to negotiate escrow contracts in a proactive and professional manner ensuring that the risk profile of JPMorgan is protected while also ensuring that the needs of the client with respect to responsiveness and timely closing are met
- Works with team members to ensure deal information is set up on all operating systems and contractual obligations denoted
- Identify and actively follow up on all escrow and bank business opportunities
- Ensures the potential risk and liability being assumed by JPMorgan under each agreement is within guidelines
- Acts as the primary point of contact for allocated clients
- Manages the retention of client relationships
- Provides and promote strong and proactive customer service by responding quickly to client requests, offering solutions to client needs, and developing meaningful client relationships
- Escalates any issues promptly on identification
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ year's work experience in financial services
- 5+ years of client service experience
- Minimum 5 years of M&A Escrow experience
- Minimum 5 years of legal negotiation for M&A Escrow
- Paying Agent experience
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team Player and highly motivated
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Proficient in Spanish and Portuguese helpful
- Project Finance experience helpful
- Transferable experience within Escrow, ideal
