As an Associate in Client Profitability Planning and Analysis, you will be a key contributor passionate about driving solutions in Financial Planning & Analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Business Management, to support the development and implementation of client profitability models that align with our business objectives. Your insights will be pivotal in shaping our pricing decisions and impacting client relationships. Positioned at the intersection of Product and Client segments, you will contribute to shaping the overall Payments Strategy.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and implementing a fair and transparent profitability framework for Payments clients in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of client profitability results, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial reporting deliverables
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to enhance our framework
  • Participate in one-off and repeatable analyses as required by senior management and support various projects related to client profitability
  • Conduct \"deep dive\" analyses on key issues impacting client profitability to determine root cause and propose solutions
  • Serve as a liaison between FP&A, lines of business, and other support teams to ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of initiatives
  • Able to summarize potentially complex problems and questions into key arguments to facilitate discussion and demystify processes/approaches for wider audiences

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant FP&A experience
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working understanding of revenue and expenses. Familiarity with allocation rules and principles e.g. fixed/variable determination
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables
  • Excellent oral and written communication and relationship management skills. Ability to present complex matters to senior management and stakeholders
  • Strong team-building and communication skills. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Self-starter who is driven to excel in all aspects of their role and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Financial services experience
  • Familiarity with tools like Cognos, Alteryx, and Tableau
  • Knowledge on capital allocations
