As an Executive Director of B2B Payables Network Solutions within the Treasury Services business, you will lead the end-to-end strategy, innovation, and delivery of emerging payment solutions that address the evolving needs of both buyers and suppliers. This leadership position in the rapidly growing B2B Payables organization combines strategic product leadership and sales expertise to accelerate go-to-market strategies with innovative product delivery and unlock significant revenue growth. You will translate market opportunities and client feedback into scalable offerings that drive supplier adoption, client impact, and tangible business results.

This role requires deep expertise in both commercial card issuance and merchant acquiring to build an integrated, closed-loop payments network. Partnering closely with Product, Sales, Operations, and Technology teams, you will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling solutions that modernize B2B payables and deliver tangible business outcomes for our customers.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy, development, delivery, and ongoing optimization of B2B Payables Network Solutions, including intake, feasibility assessment, operational readiness, and release management.
  • Define, build, and manage a performance measurement framework that aligns product metrics with business objectives. Track and analyze key indicators.
  • Shape and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, ensuring clear articulation of the product's technical capabilities and value proposition. Develop a strong understanding of the solution architecture, integration requirements, and network components-including issuing, acquiring, and payment brand interfaces-to effectively position the product with clients, internal stakeholders, and executive audiences. Ensure the value proposition resonates across buyer and supplier segments, supporting product launches, sales enablement, and sustained adoption.
  • Leverage client feedback, competitive intelligence, and market insights to inform product enhancements and guide roadmap prioritization. Convert emerging opportunities into offerings that drive revenue, retention, and ecosystem growth.
  • Build supplier acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Serve as the operational and strategic liaison across Product, Technology, Sales, Operations, Risk, and Compliance. Drive coordination across workstreams, resolve delivery blockers, and ensure alignment with firmwide goals and standards.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure delivery teams meet all regulatory, risk, and compliance obligations. Facilitate smooth transitions as products move from development to scale.
  • Deliver high-impact updates to internal and external stakeholders, including governing bodies, product executives, segment leads, and business partners. Clearly communicate priorities, progress, and value delivered, tailoring messaging for technical, business, and regulatory audiences.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities:

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Extensive leadership experience across product strategy, go-to-market execution, and business development in B2B payments, with deep expertise in both commercial card issuance and merchant acquiring
  • Deep understanding of payment market dynamics, including issuing and acquiring processes, payment brand requirements, and end-to-end flows across buyer and supplier ecosystems
  • Proven track record in launching and scaling complex B2B payment solutions driving adoption, revenue growth, and measurable client impact across payment ecosystems
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving skills, with a track record of leveraging data-driven insights to inform business decisions, shape product strategy, and lead complex initiatives in fast-paced, matrixed environments
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value, with a working knowledge of payment network interfaces, solution architecture, and integration workflows
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven ability to influence, align, and negotiate across senior executive audiences-internally and externally-bridging commercial, technical, and strategic priorities to drive decision-making and execution
  • Skilled in cross-functional program leadership, driving delivery excellence and governance across Product, Technology, Sales, Risk, and Operations
  • Experienced in building and managing strategic partnerships and alliances within multi-sided networks to accelerate ecosystem growth
  • Knowledge of regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements in financial services, including experience navigating change management in matrixed environments
