As an Operations Supervisor within the Home Lending Closers team, you will lead and supervise a group of Closers, guaranteeing the efficient and precise handling of title and closing documents. Your role encompasses providing leadership, guidance, and support to your team, cultivating a cooperative atmosphere, and making sure all closings adhere to business requirements and deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the daily operations of a Closing, focusing on Chase Pipeline management and prioritization.
  • Assist with escalations, addressing issues from individuals, and coordinating appropriate decisions to resolve customer and partner concerns.
  • Monitor adherence to prescribed quality standards, cycle times, productivity goals, and pipeline management.
  • Review daily production metrics with the team and manage the pipeline to ensure loans progress effectively to closing.
  • Interact with assigned origination management teams to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Ensure staff verifies loan documentation, recalculates information as needed, and accurately updates systems.
  • Provide people leadership by modeling and offering direction through coaching and developing team members at all levels, fostering long-term learning and development.
  • Promote collaboration by partnering with team members to prioritize customer needs.
  • Deliver results by setting and understanding goals, working towards short-term objectives, and supporting long-term strategy.
  • Communicate effectively by sharing information, concepts, and opinions to achieve clear understanding and desired outcomes, and by answering complex inquiries.
  • Maintain accountability by ensuring the team communicates effectively with partners and settlement agents via phone.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Proven experience in managing a team within a mortgage or financial services environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle complex inquiries.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address escalations efficiently.
  • Proficiency in pipeline management and prioritization.
  • Commitment to delivering results and achieving organizational goals.
