Operations Senior Specialist II - Capital Market Registration
Bring precision and pace to work that directly supports customers and business partners. In this role, you will help ensure pricing updates are completed accurately and on time so transactions can be confirmed and downstream teams can manage daily position and risk. You will collaborate across home lending channels and provide clear, professional service to partners who rely on timely answers. You will also build deep expertise in pricing maintenance, process controls, and operational risk awareness.
As an Operations Senior Specialist II on the Capital Market Registration team, you will ensure pricing and loan maintenance updates are completed accurately and within established service timelines so customers receive timely, accurate transaction confirmations. You will manage daily pricing requests from internal and external partners, input and validate loan data in the loan origination system, and complete required reporting. You will troubleshoot issues as they arise, escalate when needed, and apply controls to help manage pricing and hedging risk. You will communicate directly with partners (including phone-based support), providing prompt and accurate responses.
Job responsibilities
- Review and respond to daily pricing and loan maintenance inquiries from home lending partners
- Process pricing maintenance changes, including extensions, relocks, renegotiations, and product or rate updates
- Update and validate loan data in the loan origination system with a high degree of accuracy
- Manage work queues to meet established service timelines and same-day completion expectations
- Provide professional, candidate-centric customer service by handling inbound calls and written requests
- Follow required internal procedures and applicable external regulations while completing transactions
- Produce and reconcile assigned daily reports and ensure data completeness and accuracy
- Identify, investigate, and resolve issues and errors; escalate items that require additional review
- Partner with downstream stakeholders to help ensure pricing changes flow correctly to position and risk processes
- Adapt to frequent changes in requirements, controls, and process guidance
- Support multiple home lending channels, including consumer and correspondent workflows
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience providing customer service support in a phone-based and contact-center environment
- Experience entering and validating data in an operational system (for example, a loan origination or servicing platform)
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across high-volume, time-sensitive work
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify process exceptions and follow escalation procedures when needed
- Ability to follow documented procedures and apply controls to reduce operational risk
- Knowledge of loan origination lifecycle concepts
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools (email, spreadsheets, and workflow/queue tools)
