As an Operations Automation Associate within our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to understand key business challenges and come up with ideas for process optimizations. You will analyze current business processes, develop low code solutions to automate processes, and guide junior developers on solution design. This role provides an opportunity to bridge the gap between business and technology, promoting the business forward while shaping innovative technology solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations, technology, transformation, and other key stakeholders to understand key business and operational challenges and generate ideas for process optimizations.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and documentation of both functional and non-functional business needs to create business requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes to understand business needs and determine how to best fulfill those needs via system and process improvements.
  • Work closely with the operations and technology team to develop low-code solutions to automate processes.
  • Guide citizen developers and junior professional developers on solution design and conduct code reviews.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and to-be requirements.
  • Escalate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare wireframes to represent current and to-be user interfaces (UI).
  • Adhere to key control, regulatory, and audit standards.
  • Ensure all changes to products, best practices, and operating models are clearly understood by all stakeholders and implemented in a controlled manner.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Develop business process automation solutions using the Pega low-code platform; leverage certification as a Pega Lead System Architect; enhance experience with platforms like Instabase, Python, UiPath, etc.
  • Familiarize with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and utilize JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber.
  • Apply server-side languages such as Python, Ruby, Java, PHP, and .Net, and implement database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
  • Analyze financial operational environments with proven skills and work on projects delivering automation solutions to operations teams, including improvements to existing processes.
  • Facilitate global/multi-site projects, including workshops with remote participants and rationalization of regional requirements, and model data using relational databases for low-code solutions.
  • At least 7 years of experience as a Low Code Developer within top-tier investment management or financial services firms..
  • Manage stakeholder and client relationships with excellent communication skills, presenting complex ideas quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrate expertise in KYC, AML, and Client Reference Data.
  • Adopt a proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through.
  • Exhibit excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentation, and production of documentation appropriate to an audience.
  • You must have a Bachelor's degree or above
