Marketing Strategy Manager, Vice President

Develop customer engagement marketing strategies throughout the customer lifecycle supporting the Mass customer segment with a focus on delivering convenience, security, advice and value to our customers.

As a Marketing Strategy Manager in Consumer Bank, you will dive into research, customer data and competitors to identify opportunities to deepen relationships with checking and savings customers. You'll partner with key cross-functional partners from strategy development to implementation and analysis and optimization.

Job responsibilities

  • Drive strategic growth initiatives including recurring seasonal and life event campaigns designed to engage current customers and reactivate lapsed customers
  • Manage lifecycle and engagement campaigns from end-to-end; developing the strategy and partnering with key stakeholders through implementation, deployment, ongoing optimization, monitoring, reporting and analysis
  • Liaise between Marketing, Technology and Deposit Product to continuously improve key performance indicators and the customer experience, while meeting the overall Marketing vision
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Consumer Bank customer journey to develop programs that increase customer retention and balance growth
  • Integrate cohesive customer engagement strategies, within cross-functional areas, including branch and local events, customer service and operations
  • Develop Lifecycle KPIs; communicate key strategies, insights and results to key stakeholders and leadership
  • Implement a rigorous, "always-on" testing and optimization program designed to increase customer engagement and retention

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • 4-year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Digital/Technology or Business Management
  • 7+ years of marketing experience with proven track record in direct-to-consumer or digital marketing strategy, innovation and customer experience
  • Is highly curious and never settles for good enough
  • Is data driven and analytical, while also being a creative thinker and focused on customer experience
  • Is focused on how marketing drives quantifiable business results
  • Is vigorous in their management of details and financials
  • Loves testing, learning, and taking calculated risks
  • Likes to build from ground up - has a startup mentality
  • Is eager to roll up their sleeves to set strategic direction as well being involved with implementation
  • Is able to focus on the big picture, considering impacts outside their given initiatives
  • Has expertise across all communication channels, including web, mobile, email, and paid/display media

  • Skilled and comfortable at working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and planning skills
  • Excels at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
