DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Work and collaborate closely with the global Market Intelligence team and the wider Data Assets & Alpha Group. Independently publish daily original and commercial Market Intelligence content to over 25k institutional clients and financial services professionals, covering US, Europe, and Asia, assessing policy, macro and micro news flow and the potential impact on global equities. Act as the lead subject expert on one cross-asset area (commodities, rates or credit) and one or multiple ex-US regions (Europe or Asia) within the Market Intelligence team, independently researching, publishing and facilitating client meetings. Conduct independent client meetings, providing original market insights to internal and external clients. Independently lead and create ad hoc bespoken pieces (original and analytical research analysis tailoring to the clients' demand) to external and internal clients. Initiate and lead data-centric projects, assimilating broad sources of data (including research, technical, positioning and survey data) and quantitative techniques to create a differentiated content offering. Present on regular podcast series regarding the data- driven insights, market implications and investor feedback. Work closely with trading to ensure views on intra-day events are comprehensively covered. Work closely with research to ensure views are correctly understood and disseminated. Work across Prime, Delta 1, Derivatives, Cash and Macro / FICC to build a broad set of stakeholders across the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Quantitative Finance, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Equity Research Associate, Equity Sales and Trading Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Quantitative Finance, or related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Equity Research Associate, Equity Sales and Trading Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: demonstrable research work developing tactical global cross-asset investment strategies with tradable ideas across single stocks and the basket/thematic space; working with Bloomberg Analytics in Python to automate and quantify analytics, coordinating with Sales, Trading, Quantitative Research, and Technology to initiate data-centered projects. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following: publishing daily equities strategies, including assessing policy, macro and micro news flow, and equities impacts; publishing daily original, analytical, and commercial investment strategies content to institutional clients including long-only institutions and hedge funds; publishing in either one or more non-equities sector (commodities, rates, and credits) or cross-asset publishing; research experience utilizing Bloomberg Analytics.

Full-Time. Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 per year.
