Job Summary:

As a Collateral Risk Analyst in Asset Wealth Management, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing all JPMorgan Global Wealth Management exposures, including loans, OTC derivatives, and brokerage margin loans secured by financial and other asset types. You will develop a deep understanding of the Credit business and collateral functions, providing oversight and guidance to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies. Collaborate with Credit Operations leadership, Risk, Capital Advisory, Bankers, Client Service, Centralized Lending, Underwriting, technology, compliance, and legal personnel to manage collateral and credit exposure, execute client requests, and identify and escalate credit issues.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up agreement terms regarding collateral in credit systems for ongoing compliance monitoring. Manage offline monitoring if systems cannot support the arrangement.
  • Monitor collateral daily, identify non-compliant scenarios, confirm accuracy, and escalate to Credit and Bankers for resolution.
  • Manage requests for intraday transactions, approving them if collateral position and covenant compliance are adequate.
  • Manage amendments to original agreement terms, ensuring accurate reflection in credit systems for compliance monitoring.
  • Handle third-party pledge scenarios and regularly update credit system valuations regarding external assets.
  • Participate in credit system defect identification, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ongoing business requirement discussions.
  • Manage initiatives to resolve control gaps and enhance processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Minimum BA/BS degree.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in process reengineering initiatives.
  • High-level proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and managing issues.
  • Strong independent judgment and awareness of appropriate escalation.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Knowledge of bank systems and loan/credit operations is a plus.
  • Operational management experience.

Visa sponsorship or relocation assistance will not be offered for this role. This position will require to work 5 days in office.
