DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take an active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Manage the immediate team of Security Engineers on daily tasks and activities. Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. Anticipate technical dependencies with other teams to deliver engineering outputs in line with business requirements. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Manage stakeholder relationships and the team's work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. Create a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritize diverse representation. Recognize risk in roles and operations, follow the control procedure framework, and execute root cause analysis on risk.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Manager of Security Engineering, Software Engineer, Security Engineer, IT Analyst, Application Engineer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Manager of Security Engineering, Software Engineer, Security Engineer, IT Analyst, Application Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires at least three (3) years of experience with the following: Python backend development; developing code to automate task in AWS; implementation of highly scalable systems including release management, software configuration, design, development, and implementation using Python; developing software using Agile Methodology; leading technical iteration on the design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment of engineering solutions. This position requires experience with the following: determining risk of connectivity requests; troubleshooting network connectivity in public Cloud environments; cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities; and responding to Distributed Denial Of Service and layer 7 Cyber attacks.

Full-Time. Salary: $173,600 - $260,000 per year.
