Job Responsibilities:
- Originate private financing trades with corporate clients in Greater China and Southeast Asia
- Engage proactively with Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Global Corporate Banking (GCB), and Global Investment Banking (GIB) partners to expand the origination network.
- Share regular market updates and regulatory changes with internal teams and clients, ensuring awareness of key industry events
- Organize periodic investor meetings for select clients to facilitate risk recycling and strengthen client relationships
- Execute financing transactions in collaboration with the structuring team, ensuring alignment with client needs and market conditions
- Assist the structuring team in negotiations with borrowers and investors on financing documentation, ensuring clarity and compliance
- Assist the trading team in seeking necessary internal approvals
- Understand and apply the firm's approach and policies for managing risks, as well as applicable legal and regulatory rules.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in private financing or related fields
- A well-rounded academic background from a top-tier educational institution.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex financial environments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in managing high-level client relationships
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across multiple business lines and geographies
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in private financing or related fields
- Familiarity with the Greater China market and regulatory environment
- Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and drive business growth
- Fluent in Mandarin
