Local Market Corporate Sales - FI Analyst

If you thrive under pressure and have a sense of urgency, this role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our Local Markets sales force at JPM Chase Bank Bangkok, Thailand.

As a FI Analyst in our Local Markets Sales team, you will be at the forefront of executing multi-product transactions, primarily in Foreign Exchange and Rates. You will work with the trading, structuring and research teams to provide comprehensive client coverage, including fulfilling client requests for market updates, executing client orders and providing institutional clients with information about specific securities. You may also be involved in providing marketing ideas and help initiate transactions. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain wider exposure to other sales teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the day-to-day client requests and needs across FICC products.
  • Maintain and develop key client relationships, executing FX, FXO, and Rates products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding market drivers and identifying product opportunities.
  • Understand drivers of relevant markets and establish a high degree of competence with clients around executing trades.
  • Understands firm's approach and policies for managing risks in relevant business and applicable legal and regulatory rules, and follows policies.
  • Build foundation of trust with clients by demonstrating an understanding of their needs, clearly articulating desk ideas, and being responsive.
  • Balance potentially competing needs across clients, internal partners and the firm.
  • Assist with the post trade process by ensuring the accuracy of all entries and to ensure internal controls are followed.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Finance, Economics and other related disciplines
  • 2-3 years of experience in a client facing role in Global markets.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge; FX, FXO and Rates (flow and structured) and various Asian local markets
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills for problem-solving and solutioning.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to partner well within the team and with external stakeholders.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to relate to diverse groups and build client relationships.
