As a Lead Solutions Analyst in Commercial & Investment Bank, you will play a central role in driving the success of our technical program delivery. Your deep understanding of applications, platforms, and products will position you as a key bridge between product owners, business, operations, and software developers. Utilizing advanced analytical reasoning and technical fluency, you will translate complex business requirements into well-structured and technically feasible solutions. You will make data-informed decisions and provide strategic insights to support key business initiatives. As a technical subject matter expert, you'll navigate ambiguity, manage change effectively, and communicate compellingly with diverse stakeholder audiences to ensure the highest quality and professionalism in service delivery.

The Application Owner coordinates with appropriate stakeholders and teams to ensure the application meets or exceeds JPMC standards based on the risk profile. They work closely with the Information Security Managers (ISMs) and Development teams or SaaS Venders to prioritize open items and to solicit guidance or clarification where required. The Application Owner is the initial point of contact for non-product driven requests such as Technology Lifecycle Management, Vulnerability Management, Infrastructure changes and Entitlements. The role of the Application Owner (AO) is both critical and complex. The AO has the prescribed accountability for the application's health and for ensuring sufficient support services are in place. The AO will partner with multiple teams, e.g., Application Development, Production Management, Application Security Champions, to develop, enhance and maintain a stable, current, high quality, and secure application. This position reports to the Vice President of Information Systems and may support a mix of SaaS and JPMC Developed apps.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as initial point of contact for non-product driven requests (i.e., Technology Lifecycle changes, Vulnerability notices, etc.)
  • Ensure all aspects of running and maintaining an app are compliant with JPMC policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accountability for ensuring teams/apps comply with JPMC controls such as: Identity & Access Management, Data retention & destruction, Stability & Resiliency and periodic assessments.
  • Collaborate across teams to negotiate priorities and drive change.
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders to strategically plan and execute on deliverables
  • Navigate internal firm processes/tools to update and maintain required documentation
  • Triage application issues and engage appropriate teams to resolve.
  • Analyze requests, investigate options and propose solutions (i.e. adopt new/existing software, data integrations, risk reducing changes)
  • Collaborate with Vendors (for SaaS Apps or application components) for coordinating support, risk/compliance assessments, etc.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, or a related field
  • Technical exposure and/or experience in the following application domain areas: Tech Governance Risk and Compliance, Vulnerability Management, Application Development, Technology Operations, Security Operations, Identity & Access Management
  • Ability to navigate complex processes and distill broad guidance into actionable tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across organizational and geographical boundaries
  • Strong control orientation, analytical, communication and negotiation skills
  • Superior communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build rapport, garnering respect and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment
  • Ability to be quickly adjust to shifting priorities and to be comfortable in a fast-paced priority-driven environment

  • Experience in highly regulated industry like healthcare or banking
