Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with over 12 years of expertise in software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable backend solutions using Java technologies. As a Senior Java Backend Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and optimize application performance.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Develop and maintain robust backend services using Java, with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Design and implement scalable microservices-based solutions.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction and user experience.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot framework, and AWS environments.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Basic Knowledge on React would be an added advantage
- Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, designers, and platform teams.
