As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Intelligent Solutions team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive training materials and programs tailored to various user levels, from beginners to advanced users.
- Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate users on Tableau functionalities, best practices, and data visualization techniques.
- Update training content to reflect the latest Tableau features and industry trends.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for Tableau-related inquiries and technical support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues.
- Collaborate with IT and data teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to Tableau usage.
- Foster a community of Tableau users within the organization by organizing user group meetings, forums, and events.
- Encourage and support users in sharing their Tableau success stories and innovative use cases.
- Advocate for user needs and feedback to Intelligent Solutions stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of Tableau services.
- Monitor user engagement and training effectiveness through surveys, feedback, and usage analytics.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Intelligent Solutions stakeholders on training outcomes and user support metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align Tableau training and support with organizational goals.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Proven experience in using Tableau for data visualization and analysis.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing and delivering training programs in a corporate setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to user support.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Practical cloud native experience
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Tableau Certified Associate).
- Experience in a Center of Excellence or similar role within a large organization.
- Familiarity with data management and analytics tools beyond Tableau.
