DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Responsible for design reviews and provide design recommendations. Contribute to planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and lead the proposed IT solution to develop software applications. Incorporate security requirements into design and provide input to information and data flow for software application development. Ensure adherence to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing. Incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications, document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules, and develop and enhance software application modules. Conduct code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application programming-related issues, review and provide feedback to the final user documentation, and mentor junior engineers. Ensure testing results meet business expectations, contribute to product support triaging activities, and serve as a subject matter expert.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Consultant (IT), IT Project Lead, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Linux or Unix shell scripting; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Docker; Spring; Java; Python; SQL; Maven; Kubernetes; AWS Cloud Services; Oracle; Informatica; Splunk; Tableau; GIT; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Performance Testing; Regression Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; Data virtualization tools like starburst or databricks.
