DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work closely with Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A), internal Management Information Systems and technology teams to understand business requirements, drive analysis and design of applications builds and sourcing solutions. Partner with Finance and Business teams to identify new and changing reporting requirements and manage development of end-to-end solutions including development, UAT and change management to production. Coordinate with support groups such as database administrators and server administrators for issue resolution. Work with data and architecture to help design optimal end-to-end solutions and provide operational support to internal customers. Design and maintain data extract procedures for critical financial reporting and dashboards. Partner with SQL server administrators to develop Oracle and SQL databases and ETL procedures to support new reporting solutions. Test and deploy the procedures in UAT and in the production environment. Communicate with internal finance teams/stake holder to comprehend the business requirements and convert them into technical solutions. Validate the finance teams' submissions in the system and resolve queries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Analytics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 (Seven) years of experience in the job offered or as Lead Data Domain Architect, Data Domain Architect, Business Analysis Manager, Business Analyst, Essbase Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Finance Planning and Analysis processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modeling, allocations, account reconciliations, restatements, currency translation and top-side adjustments; Oracle Essbase development lifecycle including requirements gathering, process designing, artifacts development, testing, migration, and maintenance; Oracle Essbase process automation through ETL tools and SQL stored procedures; Linux Operating System and shell scripting; Essbase OLAP tool including Essbase multidimensional cube design and development, Calculation scripts and MaXL scripts, and data and metadata load rules development; MDX scripts; Essbase Load rules; Oracle SmartView; Performance tuning of large Essbase OLAP Cubes; Integrating Cloud and on-premise applications to Oracle Essbase using data management; Writing SQL queries, stored procedures for finance data engineering and data pipeline development; Analyzing Profit & Loss statement hierarchies and presenting insights; Analyzing Balance Sheet account types including Assets, Liabilities, and respective time balance aggregation types and presenting insights; Analyzing business requirements for different financial KPIs and translating them into Essbase formulas; Creating management reporting hierarchies, functional requirement, and workflow diagrams; Creating data mapping, data modelling, and Essbase applications migrations.

Full-Time. Salary: $176,000 - $205,000 per year.
