This role is pivotal in creating high-quality video content that resonates with our audience on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in filming, editing, and motion graphics, with the ability to produce both high-level production videos and run-and-gun style content.

As a Video Producer/Editor within JPMorgan Wealth Management, you will contribute to projects that further establish JPMorgan as a leader in wealth management, elevate its social media presence, and reinforce its strategic goals. You will report to the Video Team Lead/Video Creative Director and be responsible for developing, scripting, shooting, and editing video and audio content for internal and external platforms.

Job responsibilities:

  • Produce original video content for J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, and assist the team in fulfilling standard pre- and post-production elements - scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, editing.
  • Assist social and events team with platform-specific productions, including live event videos and social reels.
  • Support the business with new, innovative ways to create multimedia content, engaging and directing subject-matter experts across every level of the organization.
  • Develop video content that inspires and engages employees and connects them to the firm's objectives and strategy.
  • Communicate to keep all partners up-to-date with project status, ensuring all work is on schedule.
  • Edit raw footage into high-quality video content with a focus on storytelling, pacing, and visual appeal that supports JPMWM campaigns and content initiatives.
  • Create motion graphics and animations to enhance video content and engage viewers.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve video production and editing techniques.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the video production team.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience working in media creating compelling video content, inclusive of filming and editing (news, television, digital video, creative agency) with a track record of producing video through all phases of production - planning, scripting, filming, editing.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok; offer strategic input on formats, lengths, and safety zones.
  • Familiarity with video and audio formats and best practices for web & digital applications.
  • Expertise in non-linear editing, animation, and audio edit/post software (Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition), and multi-camera workflows.
  • Working knowledge of sound mixing and color correction.
  • Expertise filming with professional camera equipment, such as Canon R5 C, C300, C70.
  • Ability to create compelling motion graphics and animations.
  • Must be able to perform the physical tasks necessary to perform the work. This includes moderate lifting and carrying of equipment, setup and takedown of equipment, and standing for long periods of time.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Familiarity with Mac systems.
  • Candidates considered for this role will be asked to supply video and motion graphic samples.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Experience working in the finance industry.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.
