Job Summary:
As a Vice President within the Investment Compliance Team, you will lead a team dedicated to interpreting investment guidelines and constructing compliance rules. You will be responsible for investigating potential violations and supporting various ongoing tactical and strategic projects. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with Depositary Operations teams and Managers across EMEA to deliver tailored solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a central liaison with Product & Development and OSD teams.
  • Focus on sustainable outcomes and long-term impacts.
  • Monitor key metrics and dashboards for client deliveries.
  • Facilitate communication with service partners to resolve queries.
  • Challenge existing processes and support change initiatives.
  • Understand regulations like UCITS, MMFR, NURS, and AIFMD.
  • Possess basic knowledge of coding languages like SQL.
  • Identify process improvements and efficiencies regularly.
  • Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Develop skills and capabilities through certifications and training.
  • Communicate departmental information and goals to the team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Have over 12 years in banking/financial services or accounting.
  • Understand security types and financial products.
  • Be aware of stock market practices and data vendor systems.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commit to effective team communication.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Uphold the firm's Code of Conduct and related laws/regulations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Have 10-15+ years in mutual/pension/hedge funds or accounting.
  • Demonstrate strong technical skills in accounting principles.
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership and staff development skills.
  • Drive efficiencies through re-engineering and process improvements.
  • Initiate and drive change effectively.
  • Manage projects with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Communicate clear and compelling messages to guide and motivate others.
