- Conduct thorough reviews of flood & non-flood insurance policies to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute outreach campaigns aimed at engaging and educating agents about flood & non-flood insurance policies and updates.
- Efficiently manage the mailbox for loan inquiries related to insurance, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Address requests from both internal and external parties, providing clear and concise information.
- Review and manage exception reports, identifying areas of concern and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure all exceptions are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in insurance servicing processes.
- Maintain open and effective communication with external parties, fostering strong relationships and trust.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the insurance servicing function.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure best practices are followed.
- Perform Quality Control of internal processes where needed.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in insurance servicing, particularly in flood insurance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work fast yet accurately.
- A positive attitude and team spirit with exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with various stakeholders and across levels.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and GSE (FNMA & FHLMC) insurance guidelines and regulations.
- General commercial insurance industry knowledge.
- A curious mind that prefers to go deep to understand details.
