Insider Threat - Senior Program Manager

As the Executive Director of the Insider Threat Program Management Office within the Global Security team, you will lead the development and oversight of key strategic initiatives and processes. By leveraging your expertise, you will enhance the firm's framework for identifying and mitigating internal threats. Collaborating with a diverse array of stakeholders across the company-including Cybersecurity, Technology, Risk Management & Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, and Regulatory Affairs-as well as external partners, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the Program Management team in executing strategic deliverables and oversee daily program activities to ensure seamless operations while enhancing the firm-wide control environment.
- Direct the development and governance of the firm's Insider Threat management, collaborating closely with firm-wide stakeholders to provide advisory support and enhance education and awareness initiatives.
- Evaluate and enhance processes, controls, metrics, and reporting mechanisms related to Insider Threat.
- Collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of both business and control environments, enhancing the effectiveness of the insider threat mitigation.
- Develop and implement recommendations and solutions to continuously enhance the Insider Threat program.
- Present insights and updates on the development and progress of the Insider Threat program to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay informed about cutting-edge processes and technologies for detecting, assessing, and mitigating internal and external threats.
- Monitor global trends and causes of both insider and external threats, including political, financial, and ideological factors.
- Actively engage with industry, professional, and government organizations to ensure alignment with best practices.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in program management, ideally supporting an insider threat program or risk analysis.
- 10+ years of leading teams successfully.
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree.
- Extensive knowledge of governance and risk management frameworks.
- Knowledge of compliance, conduct, and operational risk management frameworks and processes, with the ability to anticipate and identify risks and effective mitigants.
- Understanding of security organization practices, operations, and current and emerging technologies, including insider threat detection and incident response methodologies.
- Inquisitive nature and comfort in challenging current practices, with a proven track record of driving ideas forward and influencing change.
- Skilled at developing relationships with senior business executives, with a reputation for partnering across organizational lines to mitigate risks.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage expectations and deliver results.
- Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and diverse stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Demonstrated technical acumen and extensive experience in cybersecurity architecture, controls, and operations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Master's degree related to Intelligence Studies, Forensic Science, Security Studies, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Analysis, or a related field.
- Experience in or knowledge of the private sector, including but not limited to the financial industry.
- Insider Threat, Counterintelligence, analytical and/or security tradecraft training and certifications.
