Head of Talent & EX CAO Strategic Program Management Office
The Chief Administration Office (CAO) for Talent & EX is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead the Project Management Office. This pivotal role is responsible for driving the organization's highest-priority initiatives, ensuring all workstreams are executed efficiently and in alignment with the organization's vision for future-ready talent and employee experience.
As the Head of Talent & EX CAO Strategic Program Management Office, you will bring structured program management, strong stakeholder influence, and a change leadershipmindset to deliver results across complex, multi-year programs. Ideally, you will be a disciplined executor and trusted advisor, comfortable shaping executive-level conversation, translating strategy into actionable roadmaps and ensuring timely delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with executive sponsors to set objectives and success measures while establishing a robust framework for prioritizing initiatives and resource allocation to optimize impact
- Connect project activities to the company's long-term business strategy, anticipating cross-functional impacts
- Own end-to-end project roadmaps and delivery for large scale transformation efforts
- Drive milestone tracking, dependencies management, risk mitigation, and issue escalation across the portfolio
- Directly manage, or provide oversight for, high-risk/high-visibility programs. Identify and mitigate program risks, issues, and dependencies across the division and with partners
- Implement and enforce standardized project management methodologies, tools, and controls to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery and be able to translate complex program updates into clear, concise, decision-ready executive materials
- Serve as the central point of contact between project and product teams and the executive leadership group, facilitating both alignment and active discussion
- Build strong, effective relationships with senior stakeholders across functions (e.g., Technology, Risk, Finance, HR, Operations)
- Define, track, and report KPIs for project success (e.g., employee NPS, productivity, time-to-hire, capability build)
- Monitor and ensure realization of projected benefits from project investments
- Co-define KPIs with product and executive leaders, using effective tracking methods for performance with both lagging and leading indicators
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project management professionals while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven culture within the PMO
- Manage resource planning, talent development, and performance management for the team

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Project & Portfolio Management Expertise: Mastery of PMO best practices, portfolio governance, and program risk management. Experience running multiple interdependent workstreams, and cross-border teams.
- Execution Leadership: 10+ years of experiencemanaging multi-year, enterprise-wide projects in complex organizations. Deep understanding of HR transformation, talent management, or large-scale workforce initiatives.
- Influence & Communication: Executive presence with exceptional influencing skills; able to advise senior leaders. Outstanding ability to synthesize complexity into actionable insights for decision-making.
- Technical & Tools Competence: Proficient in portfolio and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Monday, Lucid). Familiarity with agile and product-based delivery approaches in HR or enterprise functions. Applies the right level of rigor for each initiative-not over-engineering processes.
- Team Leadership & Development: Experience building, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams of project management professionals. Fosters a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven culture within the PMO.
