As a Global Security Operations Manager in Global Security, you will oversee security operations in Taiwan, ensuring the safety of our employees and facilities. Your role is crucial in maintaining compliance and implementing security measures that align with our global standards. You will lead crisis response efforts and collaborate with various teams to enhance security protocols. As a key member of the GS regional team, you will lead the coordination of physical security activities and product line components within Taiwan, reporting directly to the Head of APAC Global Security Director.

Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate physical and technical security activities for all location-based operations.
- Manage and train a professional guard force, ensuring compliance and discipline.
- Implement security policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct security inspections and oversee surveillance systems.
- Ensure compliance with access control SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Lead crisis response efforts during emergencies.
- Collaborate on security measures for high-profile events.
- Manage inter-affiliate services and outsourcing arrangements.
- Support audits and ensure compliance.
- Address administrative requirements and vendor dealings.
- Promote continuous improvement in security operations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 5-8 years of experience in a security (or demonstrably similar) domain, preferably within the Asia Pacific region and a similar corporate environment.
- A good working knowledge of security operations and safety practices in a business environment with demonstrable supervisory experience in a similar environment.
- Project management skills which include expertise in developing robust security designs for new facilities.
- Ability to prioritize and align efforts with business strategy.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Effective cost and resource management.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Proactive stakeholder engagement and collaboration.
- Ability to foster inclusive environments and trust.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Security related accreditations (e.g. Physical Security Professional, Certified Protection Professional etc.) may be beneficial.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder requirements.
- Experience in crisis management and emergency response.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior colleagues.
