As an EM Financing Structurer, you will work closely with Sales, Trading, Legal, and other control functions to structure and execute bespoke secured financing transactions in a variety of formats such as repos, TRS, margin loans, securitizations and structured notes. You'll act as a central axis point for Markets financing transactions, collaborating with various stakeholders to promote financing products in fixed income, with a particular focus on CEEMEA.

Job Responsibilities
- Act as an structurer in the CEEMEA Structuring team, based in London.
- Work closely with Sales and Origination teams to design and execute financing transactions, typically serving as alternatives to capital markets issuances and traditional banking products.
- Cover a variety of clients, including Banks, Central Banks, Sovereigns, Credit Funds, Corporates, and Insurance Companies, staying on top of market developments and implications on our clients' financing and liquidity needs.
- Work closely with Trading teams in Currencies and Emerging Markets, Fixed Income Financing, EM Credit, and Rates, with a focus on structuring efficient financing solutions that meet JPM internal legal, capital and risk/return requirements.
- Take ownership of relevant workstreams in financing transactions such as assisting with initial client dialogue, determining financing format and collateral valuation methodology, and managing the internal approval process.
- Cooperate with control functions such as Risk, Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Regulatory Capital, and Tax.
- Prepare transaction term sheets, pricing/financing models, and client presentations.
- Negotiate and draft legal documentation and risk mitigants.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Good understanding of financing products and formats (GMRA/ISDA/Loan).
- Experience working in a deal team to tailor and deliver bespoke financings (or other markets-based solutions).
- Demonstrable proficiency with market and product terminology.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of our client base and business acumen.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with structured finance products (DPRs, ABS/MBS, covered bonds).
- Experience in emerging markets, understanding local market dynamics and/or local legal/regulatory aspects.
- Basic understanding of derivatives products (cross-currency swaps, IRS, CDS, options).
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge, and competence, and approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority.
