As a Detect/Report Officer in the Global Financial Crimes Compliance team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating regulatory risks. You will work closely with business, legal, risk, controls, and audit functions to ensure compliance with AML regulations across all business lines and regions. This position offers the opportunity to develop your investigative skills and business acumen in a fast-paced, evolving industry.

Job Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data, including alerts, transactions, customer demographics, and relevant account information to identify potential suspicious activity.
- Manage and fully document investigations, including supporting data, analysis, and rationale for disposition within the case management system.
- Complete the Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) form, if applicable, in accordance with Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) requirements.
- Effectively communicate with associates, management, and various stakeholders on identified risks, possible typologies, and recommend next steps.
- Balance inventory queues, deadlines, and priorities to achieve departmental standards and production goals.
- Demonstrate teamwork by accepting ad-hoc requests to assist other associates with inventory.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively.
- Independent decision-maker, capable of making time-sensitive assessments and articulating findings to senior investigators or managers.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Understanding of regulatory concepts, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control sanctions, and the USA PATRIOT Act.
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
