Global Equities - SVA Control - Associate
As a Global Equities SVA Control Associate within the wider Financial Reporting, Analysis & Control team (a part of Product Control), you will be responsible for understanding and monitoring the Global Equities SVA charges. The Equities business is a global leader which spans a wide product set, including equity derivatives, cash equity securities, prime brokerage and clearing.
You will be assisting in the control and analysis of SVA charges, and communicating the results to stakeholders in an effective manner. You will also contribute to forming the future direction of the team and help promote the change agenda. You will identify opportunities for process improvement, and assist in the design and implementation of new solutions.
The role will provide you with an excellent foundation in understanding the business, and how this translates to liquidity and SVA frameworks, as well as the opportunity to partner with the business to apply your knowledge as you become more experienced.

Job Responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day functioning of the Global Equities SVA Control team.
- Assist in controlling and performing analysis of SVA charges, and communicate the results of this analysis to stakeholders effectively.
- Interact with Front Office, CIB Treasury Controllers, FRM, Product Controllers.
- Presentation of monthly results and intra-month updates to key stakeholders.
- Be responsible for the production of deliverables, performing consistency checks, roll forwards, and completing data quality checklists and analytical reviews.
- Identify and progress process improvement, ensuring all processes have sufficient controls in place that are robust, documented, and transparent.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new solutions, particularly Intelligent Solutions leveraging Digital Accelerator tools (Alteryx, Tableau, etc.)
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong Excel, Alteryx and Tableau skills.
- Enthusiastic self-starter; inquisitive/curious.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Well-organized, ability to prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders and other teams.
- Control and efficiency mindset, with an aptitude for designing and building robust and efficient processes.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Banking experience and some understanding of equities products, liquidity, and transfer pricing concepts are desirable but not essential.
