As a Financial Reporting Product Controller in the Global Equities team, you will manage key external reporting disclosures across our global business. You will work with us to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting submissions. Together, we will implement robust financial controls and support new business initiatives. You will have the opportunity to analyze complex issues, generate efficiencies, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

As a Financial Reporting Product Controller in the Global Equities team, you will manage key external reporting disclosures across our global business. You will work with us to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting submissions. Together, we will implement robust financial controls and support new business initiatives. You will have the opportunity to analyze complex issues, generate efficiencies, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver detailed financial analysis and reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting submissions.
  • Collaborate with business units to implement robust financial controls.
  • Coordinate with support functions to resolve control and reporting issues.
  • Serve as a key analytical resource for product control projects.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests to support business needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business partners and regulators.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts for data quality and reporting processes.
  • Access continuous learning opportunities to advance your career.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Good understanding of accounting, financial statements, and related areas.
  • Strong analysis and data manipulation skills; proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a desire to understand the 'big picture'.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and strong self-review of work.
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize competing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Control/efficiency mindset and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Banking experience and understanding of equities products.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders and other teams.
