As a Senior Product Associate in our Agile Product Owners team, you'll work on the Channels and Payments Modernization project, developing innovative payment solutions with Technology and Product Managers. This role offers a chance to influence change management and shape globally relied-upon features, while gaining industry insights.
Global Clearing is the preeminent clearer of USD, EUR, and GBP, globally. in addition to being the largest USD clearer. As a product development manager within this business the candidate will be managing the largest product in its industry/segment. This role will align to a Product Owner role within an Agile framework. The responsibilities are generally aligned across 4 main functional areas. First, the role is responsible for researching how to develop products by engaging with partners across Technology, Architecture, and Operations to ensure capacity across the board. Second, the role is responsible for managing prioritization across stakeholders and gain agreement to schedule a six-quarter roadmap. Third, the role is responsible developing assigned products in a traditional Product Owner role within Agile teams. Fourth, the role is responsible for managing the transition of the product to Product Managers in support of go to market activities.

Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Works with Product Management, Technology, and F&BM to plan for Global Clearing sponsored work and maintain a 6Q roadmap, including partnering with technology to identify and coordinate with cross-impacted platforms
- Manages demand for owned platforms and product areas, negotiating with stakeholders for support and planning funding for non-owned platforms.
- Supports Product Manager's execution of risk assessment (PSCM) and business approvals
- Provides expertise for Non-Clearing owned programs with cross-impact to our domain; answer inquiries from Product Manager regarding feature functionality and methodology for current capabilities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Exceptional abilities to create relationships with partners and stakeholders to influence cross-functional teams
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in conveying complex processes and why they are necessary
- Ability to learn new products and processes, analyze for improvement, and carry out evidence-based actions to implement improvements; advanced problem-solving skills
- Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience working with software development and web technologies
- Proactive and takes ownership of initiatives from the start and sees through to completion
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Understanding of global payments and ISO 20022 standards
- Ability to work on projects that shape critical market infrastructure
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and methodologies
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving collaboration
- Ability to influence change management and guide the development of global features
