This role offers the opportunity to Partner with GB Technology's head of strategy ensuring critical and appropriate topics are presented to the leadership team for awareness, discussion and/or decision making. We're looking for a business management expert who can simplify complex data into actionable insights and establish themselves as a trusted advisor.
As a Chief of Staff and Business Manager within the Global Banking (GB) Technology organization, you will play a key role in aligning our operations with Global Technology's governance policies and technology best practices. You will promote best practices and knowledge sharing across the Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) to optimize business outcomes. In collaboration with GB's Technology's head of strategy and other CTO Chiefs of Staff, you will define and execute strategic initiatives across the technology landscape. You will support the GB's Chief Information Officer (CIO) and their organizations on a variety of topics. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, a strong technology background, and experience in operating within a large-scale technology organization.

Job responsibilities
- Partner with GB Technology's head of strategy ensuring critical and appropriate topics are presented to the leadership team for awareness, discussion and/or decision making.
- Prepare c-suite ready presentations for firmwide councils such as the Global Technology Leadership (GTL), Global Technology Operating Council (GTOC), Risk Management, and other management forums.
- Lead discussions on topics relevant to the team and participate in cross-group initiatives as needed.
- Present to senior executives and stakeholders on technology and organizational initiatives.
- Prepare various executive management reports to support business operations and decision making.
- Develop and bring valuable insights and analysis to the leadership team, enabling data-driven decision making.
- Lead or support major change initiatives to optimize the strategy, focus, alignment, and accountability.
- Develop and drive adoption of performance measurements and progress against business outcomes and key results.
- Establish control points to maintain timely oversight into our vendor management engagements and expenses.
- Curate the GB Technology Leadership Team meeting, track and drive action items and deliverables.
- Partner with communications team on strategy, leadership messages, forums, and speaking events.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.
- 10+ years in Technology, Business Management or Management Consulting experience in financial services
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to articulate complex concepts into salient facts creating c-suite quality visualizations and presentations
- Strong understanding of enterprise and emerging technology principles and SDLC practices
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint/PitchPRO with excellent presentation and data visualization skills
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and quantitative skills
- Ability to drive reporting and projects individually and collaboratively with cross-organizational teams

- Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment and comfortable to operate without specific mandate
